Apart from the number of complaints linked to this stereotyped, discriminatory behaviour, little data was available. Thus, more information was required on sexist behaviour, opinions on the equality of women and men, the prevalence of sexist violence and the difficulties of contacting the police after experiencing violence. The #YouToo? Survey measures sexism in Belgium in its different dimensions and encompasses several areas of life. It focuses on intersectionality and other variables that may play a role in multidimensional discrimination.
